Had a fantastic time at Hope Lake Lodge and Greek Peak! The suites were spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved having their own spiral staircase and bunk beds. The fully equipped kitchen and large dining table made meals and family activities enjoyable. The Acorn Grill restaurant had plenty of delicious choices. The activities at Greek Peak kept us busy and entertained. We learned to ski and had an amazing ski lesson with only 3 people and 2 instructors. The indoor water park was a hit, and we had a blast tubing and doing the zipline tour. The mountain coaster was a favorite for the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect for a quick getaway. Highly recommend!

Delicious meals that will blow you away. the rooms and lofts are freshly decorated with a modern touch. Great location right next to the so-so water park and arcade 🎢. Plus, it's super convenient for skiing during the winter.

Upstate NY is beautiful this time of year and Hope Lake Lodge in this setting is no less so.
The service is very good and the food is terrific.
It's unfortunate that the stay was marred by some unscrupulous person who charged over two thousand dollars to my fathers credit card.

This past weekend my family stayed at your facility…it was my daughter’s college “Parents Weekend”…she’s a freshman at Ithaca College…we decided to stay at your facility as it would allow my sons to have some fun in the water park…in addition my brother, his wife and nephew joined us. You have a tremendous/fantastic facility…what I believe you don’t have is a Food and Beverage division that understands customer service and, for that, I likely won’t return or recommend your facility to others. We were seated in your dining area (Acorn Grill) at about 10:40 on Saturday morning and there were eight of us. Besides our table, there was only one other table with customers (I later found out that that table which had three adults and one child, one of the adults was Mike Wehnke). We were promptly greeted by a very cheerful waitress who took our order and provided us with our coffee/beverages….one of my kids decided to order the buffet breakfast. At about 11:10 I asked our waitress how the order was coming she mentioned it was on its way….at 11:20 we still didn’t have our breakfast and I inquired again asking our waitress to provide an estimate of time….still nothing. As we wanted to make it to Ithaca College by noon or so, we didn’t see there being much of an option other than to leave….never thought that it would take such a long time to cook up some eggs (two of the order were very simple….bowl of Cheerios and the second, an English muffin with butter and jam). While all this was going on, the gentleman at the other table, Mike was observing our concern…wouldn’t have imagined he was part of management for two reasons…1) he did nothing and 2) he had tremendous Dunkin Donut cups of coffee for him and his guests at their table (not sure why he’s not drinking the coffee that he’s serving to the paying guests - incidentally, on this I agree with him that the Acorn Grill’s coffee is not very good).

I liked the water park because I have small children.
I did not like the fact that it is extremely overpriced. I thought I was paying for hotel and water park. Once we got there we had to pay an additional fee for water park. Make sure before you book that you agree with all the fees and you clarify what you are getting for your money.

Conveniently located and priced well for the accommodations.
The Acorn Grill left much to be desired. We arrived later than expected and almost missed them because they closed at 10 pm, being a bit remote it would have been difficult finding something to eat.

There was an indoor/outdoor swimming pool that can even be accessed on wintery days. Since it is a family destination, we felt our children were safe in the waterpark areas. The lifeguards were very vigilant.
Teh waterpark is very small. I think it was perfect forour toddler and 8 year old, but the twoolder chidlren, 14 and 15, were too big to have much fun in it. They, of course, had a great time onthe outdoor recreation events, but the little ones couldn't go. The cost of the rooms does not include the waterpark admission, which it did at other sites we visted. It seemed that eery activity was extra. Even the full-day passes didn't cover everything. I think the hotel has the right idea and is headed int the right direction, but the staff are not able to keep up, or they are not distributed correctly. There isn't an attendant for their small store, you have to go to the front desk to ask for someone to man it. Which means it is never open and you have to wait for someone to open it. The front desk also where you need to go for everything, concierge, check in check out, waterpark tickets, etc....they are too busy, you have to stand in line.

The spa was excellent, and they had a play room for our small children (18 mos and 3 yrs). Also my older son did the kids activities, like a Friday night pizza party with other children staying in the lodge and he had a great time. We had a 1 bedroom with a fully stocked kitchen and that was great. All of us loved the water park and pool, which was heated enough to swim outside when it was freezing cold out! It was very fun.
The restaurant is not very good. The first night we had dinner, and my husband and I both thought our meals were below par. The second night we had dinner brought to the room and it was not good. The third night we went down the street for dinner, and it was much better.
